My name is Mary Albert
I am a self-taught aspiring freelance artist still finding my “style”.
I love being creative and love the freedom of using all different mediums; paints, graphite, pen & ink, colored pencil, digital art, & even wood-burning. I like to try my hand at everything!

About Me.
Art is an escape and always has been for me. My passion for art started at a young age, one of my earliest and fondest memories is sitting in my Grandparents living room with Crayola crayons and coloring books. Coloring and drawing has always been exciting yet soothing for me. Being able to just create gives me a sense of purpose and I couldn't imagine a world without art.
I’ve always found my deepest thoughts when I’m working on a project, and in a way it’s therapeutic! I think a person really gets to know themselves when they are creating and being artsy. I think art is an extension of oneself and can really tell the viewers a story of who the artist really is. My story is definitely all over the place!! But I think art is a journey and I am happy to be on this adventure searching for my style and what type of artist I want to become!
Growing up I always had a notebook and pencil handy, and loved to turn a blank page into artwork. I was the type of kid in school that always doodled on my homework or would turn my boring plain binders and folders into my very own unique and one of a kind creations. I've always loved expressing my creative side and was always known for my artsy capabilities. Ever since I was younger I always dreamt about turning my artwork into a career, and am eager and excited to do just that! My goal as an artist is to continue to grow my skills and my portfolio, but more importantly to share my artwork for others to enjoy!
